In this Handbook, OHCHR presents its methodology and provides practical guidance for all stages of the human rights training cycle: planning, designing, organising and implementing training, as well as conducting follow-up activities. Its main objective is to professionalize and maximize the impact of OHCHR's human rights training work, and it may also be useful for other interested actors. This Handbook should be used in conjunction with the publication How to Evaluate Human Rights Training Activities: A Handbook for Human Rights Educators, jointly published by OHCHR and Equitas - International Centre for Human Rights Education, which focuses on the use of evaluation methods throughout the human rights training cycle.
